From a broken part to a working replacement
Obsolete and broken parts are one of the most common reasons clients come to us. A machine goes down, the manufacturer has discontinued the component or gone out of business, and no drawings exist. Rather than replace the entire machine, we reverse engineer the failed part and remanufacture it.
Even damaged parts are recoverable. Using our Shining 3D EinScan HX2 (up to 0.04 mm accuracy), we capture whatever geometry survives, then our engineers reconstruct missing or worn features in CAD based on the part's function, mating surfaces, and symmetry. If you have the intact part from the other side of an assembly or a photo of the original, that helps us rebuild it exactly.
We remanufacture in the right process for the job — 3D printing for polymers and rapid replacements, CNC machining or casting for metal parts — and can upgrade the material to something stronger or more corrosion-resistant than the original. You also get a permanent digital archive so future re-orders take days, not weeks.
